HAMILTON, NJ --  Assemblyman Dan Benson recently met with members of Hamilton's Cub Scout Pack 992 at to encourage them to stay on the path of community service. The scouts, pack leaders said, are continuing to work on earning their “Building a Better World” badges, an effort that involves learning about what people do to make our community and our country a better place.

Besnon said that he spoke about the importance of helping others no matter what and standing up for what is right even in the face of adversity.

"One of the greatest pleasures of being an elected official is discussing issues with our youth. In today's complex world, it's never been more important to encourage the next generation to be involved in their community. I believe supporting and speaking to our Scouts is a great way to do just that," added Benson.
