HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ -- The Food Pantry at Hamilton's CYO Bromley Center got a big boost of support recently from ACME. As part of ACME's 130 Days of Nourishing Neighbors Campaign, Bromley Center received a $5,000 grant for its Food Pantry.
The Food Pantry is designated to distribute free, federally funded and privately donated food to eligible, needy persons in Hamilton Township.
The Bromley Center's Food Pantry operates Tuesdays and Thursdays only from between 9:30a.m. and 11:20a.m. and 2:30p.m. and 3:30p.m. To be eligible applicants must show proof of income and Hamilton residency. There is a monthly food distribution at the Pantry.
Private non-perishable food donations to complete the pantry are accepted, such as: cereal, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, pasta, tomato sauce, canned vegetables, soups, tuna fish, and juice packs. Gift cards to ACME, Shoprite or WalMart stores or cash are also welcome.
