ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- Even though they never met their uncle who died from the disease when he was just five years old, for Arianna, Tyler, and Peyton DelGrande the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma is personal. Now, through an online fundraiser that will feature Justin Tuck, a defensive end formerly with New York Giants, they are taking their family's experience and turning it into a way to help others.

The DelGrande Triplets, also known as the team "Triple Power," are teaming up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to host a "Tuck Talk" with the now retired footballer. Justin Tuck, a two-time Superbowl winner with the New York Giants, also played for Notre Dame University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

On their website describing their fundraiser, Arianna, Tyler and Peyton said "all of us probably know someone who has battled cancer. It’s hard to understand how, even with the advances of modern medicine, this disease can still be affecting one out of every three people today, and that all of us will most likely be impacted by cancer in some way at some point in our lifetimes.:

"Together, we have decided to take a stand against this trend, and are looking to help the more than 1.3 million Americans who are living with blood cancer today," added the DelGrande Triplets.  "This cause is very personal to us. Our uncle was 5 years old when he passed away from blood cancer. Without treatment options 50 years ago, his ability to survive this disease was impossible. If our uncle were a child today, with this disease, the treatment options available now would have been significant, and he could have lived. It is our hope that by continuing to support LLS and the battle against blood cancer, no one else will have to live not knowing their uncle."

The virtual "Tuck Talk" will be held on Thursday, March 11 beginning at 7:00pm will include and interactive question and answer format.  There is a minimum $50 donation to LLS required to participate; the first 25 participants to donate $200 will receive a football autographed by Tuck.  All donations will benefit LLS and are tax-deductible.

Arianna, Tyler and Peyton are all part of this year's Students of the Year program through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "to create awareness, support, and donations for a cause that will impact cancer patients and their families for years to come."

The LLS has funded more than 60 percent of the new blood cancer treatment drugs approved by the FDA which are now being applied in other forms of cancer.
