MERCER COUNTY, NJ -- Mercer County officials have announced an initiative to provide free healthy foods local families struggling through the COVID-19 heath and economic crisis. to Friday's Emergency Free Farm Market.
Families who are temporarily facing food insecurity will be provided a box of healthy fruits, vegetables and dairy while supplies at Friday's Emergency Free Farm Market. The Market offers a drive-thru where a box of food can be loaded directly into the car's trunk or a walk-up option for those without vehicles.
The Emergency Free Farm Market will be open on Friday, June 26 between 12 noon and 2:00 pm. Distribution will be at the CURE Insurance Arena located at 81 Hamilton Ave in Trenton -- Parking Lot # 2
No registration of ID is required. Farm Market volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves and using hand sanitizer. Everyone at the Market is asked to maintain social distancing
