ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- A simple thank you with a cake and afternoon treats goes a long way sometimes. In an effort to offer this sentiment to local first responders for their work to keep the community safe, Rose Hill Assisted Residence welcomed members of the Robbinsville Police and Fire Departments to a Wednesday afternoon reception.

The event was held on September 11th to celebrate Patriot's Day and the brave work of first responders.

"We were talking about first responders the other day. You're taken for granted. How much you do and how much you're always there," said Ernie, a navy veteran who is often called the "Mayor" of Rose Hill.
