ROBBINSVILLE, NJ --  Two Robbinsville Boy Scouts were honored by the Township Council Thursday night for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Andrew Neumann, who thanked local veteran Mel Boyce for his assistance, received his Eagle Scout rank by working to create insulated benches at the Armed Services Memorial in Mercer County Park.

For his Eagle project Daniel Marincas created a wooden picnic pavilion between Blakely Park and Tantum Park along Meadowbrook Road.

Both young men thanked Robbinsville Recreation Manager Kevin Holt and Department of Public Works Director Chris Rupp for their assistance completing the projects.   They also expressed appreciation to the Township, local businesses, and members of the community for their financial support of their projects.

In recognition of their efforts, Mayor Dave Fried presented each Scout with a "We Love Our Neighbors" sign.  These signs are presented to Robbinsville residents only after members of the community nominate them for doing a good deed or kind act that deserves recognition
