HAMILTON, NJ -- The Hamilton Township Council will convene for the first time this year on Tuesday night under new leadership and with its two new members -- Councilmembers Nancy Phillips and Pat Papero.  The meeting, however, will convene at the Hamilton Senior Center because of on-going problems with the elevator at the municipal building.

The agenda includes consideration of Mayor Martin's department nominations of Kathleen Fitzgerald as director of the Township’s Department of Health, Recreation, Seniors and Veterans Services and Fred Dumont as director of Community Planning and Compliance.    Former Councilwoman Ileana Schirmer also has been nominated to serve on the Township Zoning Board.

The Council meeting will begin at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 7 at the Hamilton Senior Center located at 409 Cypress Lane.
