HAMILTON-ROBBINSVILE, NJ --  Out of an abundance of caution for public health, Hamilton and Robbinsville Townships announced on Sunday that they will be limiting public interaction at municipal buildings and closing municipal courts effective Monday, March 16 to stave-off the potential spread of COVID-19 - the coronavirus.  The decisions are being made in accordance with recommendations from the County, State, and National health organizations, as well as local Emergency Services organizations.

Residents are strongly urged to practice social distancing and good health habits during this crisis. The Cleveland Clinic describes "social distancing" as avoiding large gatherings and keeping approximately six feet between individuals when you need to be around others.  It is a method believed to help the spread of the highly contagious virus.

In both Hamilton and Robbinsville, the Township will remain open, but implementing "social distancing" by limiting public interaction. The municipal courts will be closed to the public. In Robbinsville, all non-essential meetings at municipal locations have been postponed until further notice.
