ROBBINSVILLE, NJ --- The Robbinsville Township Municipal and Recreation buildings reopened to the public for in-person meetings on Tuesday, July 7. The Senior Center, however, will remain closed for activities until further notice.
On June 14, the Municipal Building located at 2298 Route 33 began appointment-only meetings. The mail slot for tax and sewer payments, located in the rear parking lot of the building between the two yellow poles, is still available. Appointments also still can be made.
The Recreation Department recently relocated to its new home located at 66 Sharon Road on the former Miry Run golf course property now owned by the Township.
Social distancing regulations remain in effect and masks are required upon entrance to the Township buildings. Frequent hand-washing and proper hygiene is always encouraged with hand sanitizer is available at the buildings.
Anyone experiencing a persistent cough or a temperature of 100.4 or above should not enter any municipal building. Visitors must utilize the protective glass at service windows whenever possible.
The July 9 Township Council meeting will be held remotely via www.freeconferencecall.com as has been done in recent months. However, the July 23 Township Council meeting will be open to the public within the occupancy limits set by Governor Phil Murphy. Planning Board and Zoning Board meetings will continue to be held virtually or via remote until further notice.
