HAMILTON, NJ --  Area motorists are urged to make plans for alternative routes this weekend to avoid roads that will be closed for the 14th Annual New Jersey State Triathalon taking place at Mercer County Park.

According to Hamilton Police Department Hughes Drive will be closed in both directions between Youngs Road and Quakerbridge Road on Saturday and Sunday between 6:30am and 1:00pm. Parking will be prohibited on the Mercer Count Park side of Hughes Drive between Edinburg Road and Quakerbridge Road on both weekend days between 5:00pm and 1:00pm.

The road closures are as a result of the bicycle portion of the State Triathlon taking place on the parts of Hughes Drive that will be restricted.
