HAMILTON, NJ -- Mayor Jeff Martin announced on Tuesday that all Hamilton Township operated parks will reopen at sunrise on May 2 for passive recreation only such as jogging, walking,  and biking.   All playground equipment, dog parks, tennis courts, skate parks, and other park facilities will remain closed.

On Thursday, Governor Murphy announced that all State parks will reopen at on Saturday, May 2.   His Executive Order allowed Counties and Golf Courses with the autonomy to determine if and how to reopen.  Mercer County and Hamilton Township parks have been closed since April 7

Individuals who are in these parks are asked to practice guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) such as maintaining six-feet social distancing and wearing cloth masks while in public to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
