TRENTON, NJ --  The Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders unanimously chose Freeholder Andrew Koontz, Princeton, to serve as its chairman for 2020 at their annual reorganization meeting on Friday. This will be Koontz's second term as chairman and his ninth year on the board.

Freeholder Samuel T. Frisby, Trenton, was selected to serve as vice-chair.

“It’s an honor to be chosen by my colleagues to lead the Freeholder Board in 2020," Koontz said, adding that building a state-of-theart passenger terminal at Mercer County Airport would be one of his top priroities. “I believe I bring a unique perspective to the Board and I look forward to this upcoming year.”
