PRINCETON, NJ --  The Mercer County Department of Transportation and Infrastructure recently announced emergency repairs to the Mercer Road bridge over Stony Brook in Princeton beginning on or about Monday, September 23 for approximately 15 working days, weather permitting.   The bridge is located between Quaker Road and Province Line Road.

Construction will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Repairs will necessitate a full closure of Mercer Road to through traffic during daytime hours only.

A detour will be posted directing motorists to use Province Line Road, Route 206 and Route 27 (Nassau Street). During construction, Mercer Road up to the bridge will be open to local residents.
