HAMILTON, NJ --  Hamilton Township Police are investigating a Thursday evening accident that sent a bicycle riding Hamilton Township man to the hospital with a serious injury after he was struck by a garbage truck. 

At approximately 4:30 pm, a Waste Management truck traveling down South Olden Avenue northbound was making a right turn onto Graffam Avenue going east when it struck the 56-year-old victim. As a result, the bicyclist suffered a serious leg injury and was transported to Capital Health System at Fuld for treatment.  

No charges have been filed yet in the on-going investigation.
