HAMILTON, NJ --  Members of the Hamilton Fire Department, assisted by their counterparts in Robbinsville, jumped into action on Thursday to battle back a house fire on Wickom Avenue.

Hamilton Township Tower 17 Chief John Retalis arrived on scene and reported a wood frame, single-family dwelling with an active fire on the second floor.  As a result, Retalis requested an "all-hands" assignment and "balance" of the first alarm.

Responding to the scene were Hamilton Township's Engine 16, Truck 14, Special Service 15 and Chief Richard Kraemer of Truck 15. Robbinsville's Squad 40 also was on scene.
