HAMILTON, NJ -- Hamilton Township Police quickly apprehended a juvenile on Monday after reports of a suspicious person standing in front of the Hamilton High School West with a handgun.

The male walked away from the school but was located by the High School's resource officer in the area of East Park Ave and South Broad Street, according to reports.  After being apprehended, a search of the juvenile male allegedly found an Airsoft pellet gun on his person.

The 15-year-old male is a resident of Bordentown Township and does not attend Hamilton High School West.  A statement by the Hamilton Police Department indicated that "there appears to have been no threats made to any students or school personnel."
