HAMILTON, NJ --  The Hamilton Township Police Department asked for the public's help Wednesday in gathering information from potential witnesses of a dangerous hit-and-run accident. On Monday evening at approximately 8:15 pm, a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle while on South Olden Avenue near Miami Avenue.  

The motor vehicle fled from the accident before police arrived on scene. 

Hamilton Police is asking for anyone who may have witnessed the hit-and-run accident, or who may have information about it, to contact Officer DiBiasi in the Traffic Unit at (609) 581-4000 or on the Hamilton Police Crime Tip Hotline at (609) 581-4008.
