ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- Beginning at 8:00 am on Tuesday morning, Robbinsville Police Department officials moved in on the Santander bank located at the intersection of Route 33 and Main Street as part of a wide-reaching fraud investigation. Multiple arrests had been made in connection with fraudulent ATM transactions.
A source told TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville that the police activity at that location is linked to "fraudulent Santander transactions in New York and New Jersey." Around early afternoon on Tuesday, the activity is with pending follow-up inquiries, if necessary.
The investigation is being led locally by the Mercer County Prosecutor's office and Robbinsville Police Department.
Updates by TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville will be made as confirmed information becomes available.
