HAMILTON, NJ --  Hamilton Township Police are investigating the burglary of the CVS Pharmacy on Hamilton Avenue during the Sunday overnight hours.  

At approximately 12:38am on June 1, Hamilton Police were dispatched to the pharmacy on a report of a burglary in progress.   The front doors to the CVS were pried open and glass was broken. Approximately $900 was taken from the stores registers. 

The also report stated that three black males were inside the store while a black vehicle was running on nearby Brockton Avenue.

Responding police officers located a black BMW fleeing the scene.  The driver rebuffed the Officer's attempts to stop the vehicle.  But, the pursuit was called off for safety. 

There are no identified suspects at this time.  Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Hamilton Police Division's Criminal Investigation Detective Robert Whartenby at (609) 581-4032.   Anonymous information also can be provided through the Hamilton Police Crime Tip Hotline at (609) 581-4008.
