ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -- A shelter-in-place order was briefly in place Wednesday afternoon for Robbinsville Township High School and Pond Road Middle School while area law enforcement searched for a burglary suspect in the vicinity of Line Road and the wooded area behind neighborhood homes.  The shelter-in-place was lifted within an hour of activation.  

One burglary suspect was placed in custody while another potential suspect is believed to have fled the area in a vehicle posing no threat to the area.  

TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville readers noted the presence of Robbinsville and West Windsor police officers in the area of Line Road mid-day on Wednesday.

During a shelter-in-place, no students or other individuals are allowed to enter or leave the school buildings.  All Township school campuses are guarded by police officers.
