ROBBINSVILLE, NJ --  Robbinsville's 10U softball team will take the field Friday night at their level's New Jersey State Little League Championship. The team clinched the Section 3 title on Saturday setting them to start the state tournament facing the Swedesboro-Woolwich 10U team in round one. The older 12U Robbinsville Team bested their equivalent team from the same town last weekend in the state championship setting up a potential softball town rivalry.

During the district tournament, pitcher Aleiya Oneal threw nine perfect innings, according to team officials. The team also has a strong defense which includes first baseman and Gabby Sabol and second baseman Ryan Penzone, they said.

The team is managed by Mike Sabol who is assisted by coaches Tom Shoenfelt, Jason Penzone and Matt Halpin.
