PARSIPPANY, NJ --  The Robbinsville 12U Softball are State Champions once again after being undefeated in this weekend's state championship tournament.The team won the championship in a hard fought win 1-0 win against Swedesboro-Woolwich.

In the double-elimination format tournament, Robbinsville bested the same team from Swedesboro-Woolwich in round one on Friday night. That game's score was 3 to 2. On Saturday the Renegades bested Little Ferry/South Hackensack/Bogota 4-1.

The team will now go on to play in the national eastern region tournament which in Bristol, Connecticut taking on the Rhode Island state champions on Saturday, July 20 at 10:00 am.

This year's win is one among several for the storied 12U Robbinsville Softball Little League. Two years ago, Robbinsville also reigned as State Champions. In 2014, the team became the World Series Champions. In 2016, the team won the national Eastern Regional Championships.
