Sparta Township to Begin Hydrant Flushing Program

SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta Water Utility began flushing fire hydrants beginning the week of April 16 in the Lake Mohawk, Highlands and Sunset Lakes water systems.  The flushing will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta Township announces a free shredding event for residents and businesses on April 28 between 8 and 11 a.m.  The event will be held at the Sparta Township Department of Public Works at 15 Prices Lane.

Sparta Township Announced Bridge Construction, Detours on Limecrest Road

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta Township has announced bridge Q-18 at Limecrest Road will be closed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for repairs.  The existing upstream headwall will be repaired as well as repair of the bridge railing system.
