“ADHD in the Classroom” to be Presented for Parents and Teachers


WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- The Wood-Ridge Parent Advisory Network (WRPAN) will host a parent/teacher presentation, “ADHD in the Classroom” on Monday, November 20, 7 p.m., in the Wood-Ridge Junior/Senior High School Auditorium. It is open to parents, guardians, and teachers in Wood-Ridge, Hasbrouck Heights, Moonachie, and Teterboro.

Eva O’Malley, the Coordinator and Founder of TRI CHADD NJ, will give the presentation. It is a comprehensive overview of ADHD that is geared to the day-in and day-out issues of ADHD and the science behind the disorder.

CHADD is a nationally recognized non-profit providing education, advocacy, and support for families and individuals with ADHD.  TRI CHADD NJ is based in Monmouth County and its mission is to improve the lives of families and individuals with ADHD.

Educators who attend will receive professional development credit for 1.5 hours.

The presentation is being hosted by the WRPAN. The Wood-Ridge Public Education Foundation is sponsoring the cost of the speaker.
