HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ --  Opening Day is a special day, particularly in baseball and softball. Throwing a no-hitter on Opening Day, well that is doubly special. When the pitcher who throws the no-hitter gets four hits in the game, well, then you are the Athlete of the Week.

Hasbrouck Heights' Olivia Marinelli did just that last Wednesday, throwing the no-hitter, while going 4-for-5 at bat in the Aviators 21-1 win over Weehawken to start their season.  Marinelli followed that with a 15-strikeout game against Wallington on Thursday, shutting out the Panthers 8-0, to go to 2-0 on the season.
