WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -- Saturday afternoon a construction crew was ripping down what's left of an auto body that was destroyed by fire Friday night.

Fire consumed the building and at least one car on the property located at Park Place East in the borough. The building was next door to the EZ Ride service, and just yards from the Wood-Ridge Train Station and a daycare center.

Multiple explosions could be heard from inside the building, according to video reports on social media. Mutual aid was provided by Carlstadt, Hasbrouck Heights, Little Ferry, Moonachie, South Hackensack, and Wallington, according to reports.
