Girl Scout Troop 454 to Host Safety Awareness Workshop and Teddy Bear Drive for Girls

HASBOUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – Members of Hasbrouck Heights Girl Scout Troop 454 will host a Safety Awareness Workshop and Teddy Bear Drive on Wednesday, August 23, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hasbrouck Heights Senior Center at 320 Boulevard. The workshop is open to girls of all ages. It is being held with the assistance of community leaders including the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department and lifeguards from the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club and will cover age-appropriate safety topics.

Admission to the event will be one teddy bear, or any stuffed animal. All donations will go to the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department to distribute to children during a call in response to an accident or time of crisis.
