HACKENSACK, NJ -- A Glen Rock doctor whose medical practice is in Hasbrouck Heights had his detention hearing Monday morning in Hackensack.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Dr. Carl Renner was released with conditions, including home detention, electronic monitoring, no contact with his patients or medical practice, and the surrender of his passport.
Renner was arrested on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Paramus, NJ and charged with one count of Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(1), a 2nd degree crime, as part of an investigation between the Prosecutor's Office and Hasbrouck Heights Police Department.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
