HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- Hasbrouck Heights' annual Town Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Woodland Park. The rain date will be the following Saturday, October 7.
The annual town-wide event draws families and individuals to the park to mingle, catch up and interact. There will be rides and exhibits for children.
Numerous community organizations from churches, PTAs, Hasbrouck Heights Public Library, Band Parents, Parents of Athletes, Hasbrouck Heights Little League, Hasbrouck Heights Garden Club, DPW, and elected officials, among others, will have tables offering information and merchandise to residents.
The Hasbrouck Heights Volunteer Fire Department is always popular with several rescue vehicles on hand, as well an interactive fire display. Children can also explore the playground that was renovated earlier this year.
Last year students from Chip Dee Music Academy performed live music from the Rolling Stones, Katrina and the Waves and Train, among other artists.
Town Day is organized by Robert Brady, Director of Recreation, and the Recreation Advisory Board.
