HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -  Six candidates will be running for the three open full-term spots on the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education during the November 7 election, according to information obtained from the Office of the Bergen County Clerk, Election Division. 

Current Board members, including Board President Joseph Samperi, Robert Salerno and newly appointed member Nicole Campbell Russo, will be running for additional three-year terms.  They will be challenged by Jillian Ferdinand, Janet Lohrmann and Rei Vaka for a spot on the board.  

Cara Capasso-Murray will be running for the unexpired one-year term of former Board member Robert Lamorte, which Campbell Russo was appointed to fill for the remainder of the year in June. 

Current board member Debra Bruno is not running for re-election.
