HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce will begin to find solutions to ongoing parking issues along the Boulevard it announced at its monthly meeting on August 2. It will be a collaborative effort between the Chamber of Commerce, Mayor and Council.
“This issue is one that keeps coming up for the last thirty years,” said Ron Kistner, Hasbrouck Heights Councilman. “It’s not going to be solved overnight.”
A committee will be formed with members of the Chamber, Mayor, Council and other experts to work to resolve parking problems for stores and restaurants on the Boulevard, the town's main thoroughfare.
“Parking in town has been an issue for as long as I can remember,” said Peter Gallo, owner of Envision Video Services. “I am happy to see that the Mayor and Council are interested in working with us to address our parking concerns.”
