HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- The Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce made a donation to the Friends of the Hasbrouck Heights Library in support of its annual Summer Bash at its August meeting.

Mimi Hui, Library Director, accepted the check on the group's behalf. Themed Music School of Rock under the summer theme of "Library's Rock" the summer bash was held on Friday, August 3.

The business of the Chamber continues throughout the summer, planning events through the end of the year. Some of the updates included:

Farmer's Market: the Hasbrouck Heights Farmer's Market is open every Tuesday from 12 noon through 6 p.m. It is approximately half way through the season, as the market is tentatively scheduled to closed on September 25.  Any Chamber member is welcome to set up a table for free at the market. Businesses are asked to coordinate with Ray Vorisek or Mimi Hui.

5th Annual Taste of Hasbrouck Heights: scheduled for Wednesday, November 14, 6 to 9 p.m. at its new location the Fiesta in Wood-Ridge. Tickets will be available at the end of August/beginning of September. 

Holiday Parade: The annual parade and tree lighting is scheduled for Friday, November 23. A float contest will again be held for community organizations.

The next monthly meeting of the Chamber is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5 at 8 a.m. at the Library.

The Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce meets on the first Wednesday of each month at and is open to business owners, retailers, and restaurants from the surrounding towns including Wood-Ridge, Teterboro, Carlstadt, Lodi, Little Ferry, and Carlstadt, as well as those in Hasbrouck Heights. The Chamber is looking for members to assist with event sub-committees to help plan and execute the key events throughout the year. For more information, visit the Chamber's website.
