HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -  Experience and a home pool advantage were key as Hasbrouck Heights defeated Waldwick, 276-161, in the first Bergen County Pool Managers meet of the season at the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club Monday evening.

The meet was decided by the advantage Heights had in the older age categories and in the breaststroke, butterfly and relays.  Waldwick’s only lead in the meet was after the 11-12 year old Girls Individual Medley, where Heights did not have a swimmer in the first race of the match.  After the Aviators took the advantage back in the 13-14 year old IM, they never trailed again.

The Aviators return to the pool next Monday night against River Edge at 5:30 pm.
