HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- The Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry is in need of donations, especially during the back to school season.
According to Rob Brady, the food pantry coordinator, they have a need for back to school supplies. He said they assist families with 15 children in the borough. Back to school supply needs include day-to-day classroom items like spiral notebooks, composition notebooks, pencils, erasers, glue sticks, crayons, rulers and such. He said they are also in need of snack items such as juice boxes/juice sacks and individual serving snacks, like granola bars, pretzels, snack crackers and the like.
In addition, Brady said there is always an ongoing need for personal hygiene products and household cleaning supplies. He noted at this time they have enough cereal and pasta.
Donations can be dropped off at Brady's office or the Clerk's office at Borough Hall.
