HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- Girl Scout troops in Hasbrouck Heights have been busy this month. They hosted the fifth annual Holiday Bingo Party for about 30 seniors at the borough’s Senior Center on Thursday afternoon.

About 35 girls from troops ranging from Daisies through Cadettes hosted the annual party. They served cakes, cookies, various baked good and beverages as part of the Dessert Sharing Table.

The younger Girl Scouts spun the bingo wheel, tracked the numbers, and helped hand out holiday-themed prizes. The seniors were serenaded by the Girl Scouts with five classic holiday songs, including “Silver Bells” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”

One week earlier Girl Scouts gathered at the Senior Center to created a holiday craft. Led by Miss Mandy, the 50 girls painted and decorated holiday plaques to display in their homes.
