HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -  The Hasbrouck Heights Health Department will sponsor the AARP Safe Driver Program on Monday, August 6. It will be held in the Community Room of Borough Hall and run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The program is open to drivers of all ages. Completing the course, which is renewable every three years, will allow drivers a two point reduction from their driver's license, and a five percent deduction on car insurance, explained Laura French. She recommends people consult their insurance agent.

Pre-registration is required at the Health Department at 320 Boulevard. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
