HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - The Free Public Library of Hasbrouck Heights is open for in-person browsing and computer use by appointment. Masks must be worn and contactless temperature checks are required for all visitors. Due to the nature of the setup as part of Borough Hall, the public is asked to use the Madison Avenue entrance for the library. Doorside pickup service is also offered.
The Hasbrouck Heights Library continues to offer virtual activities via Zoom for the whole family and for the life-long learner. Registration is required for all programs unless otherwise noted. Book Buddies Online
Mondays, May 3-24, for ages 2-4
Each Monday, a complete storytime packet including songs, finger play and game ideas will be emailed. Participants may come to the library's doorside pickup area between 10:30am-4pm and get a complete craft-in-a-bag to tie into that week's storytime.
STAR WARS DAY - “Baby Yoda” Craft, Activities & Storytime

May the 4th be With You! Celebrate Star Wars Day with a Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) craft and some take home Star Wars activities available at our doorside location. Storytime for all ages will be on our Facebook page at 4pm.

May’s Teen Craft is a Sailor Knot bracelet that’s a perfect warm-weather accessory! Supplies will be available for pickup during afternoon and evening doorside hours and a tutorial will be posted on YouTube.

If you love Disney animated movies, this trivia is for you! From Snow White to Frozen, test your knowledge to win a prize! Trivia will be played on Kahoot and participants will be able to interact over Zoom.

Situations have arisen as a direct result of the current health crisis that underscores more than ever the need for us to consider the importance of having such critical documents as a Last Will & Testament, a Medical Directive, or a Power of Attorney. Join Judge Michael Dressler for a discussion on the documents mentioned above, estate tax consequences in this day and age, and any of your needs as they relate to the Surrogate's Court.

The public is welcome to return library materials to our book box. It is located in back of the municipal building. All items will be quarantined for 72 hours prior to check-in.
