HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Hasbrouck Heights Middle and High School were briefly evacuated Tuesday morning, according to an official notice from the school district.

"There was an unscheduled fire drill today at the hs/ms (sic) school due to a malfunctioning sensor. All were evacuated There was never any danger."

Teachers, administrators and students left the building just before 10am and returned 30 minutes later, after Hasbrouck Heights first responders remedied the situation.
