HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - Add another piece of hardware to Nick Delcalozo's trophy case.

Hasbrouck Heights head football coach was honored in mid-November with the Diogardi Award at a reception hosted by the New Jersey Football Officials Association's North Jersey Chapter. 

The Dioguardi Award is named for long time NJFOA-North member, William Dioguardi, who served as Chapter President and Membership Chairman, according MiAngelo Moore, Technology/Public Relations Chair. In addition, he served as Athletic Director at Montclair State University.

This award is given annually to a North Jersey High School Football Coach or Athletic Director who exhibits good sportsmanship, longevity and success. The awardee also demonstrates supportive and respectful actions towards the officials on the field on a consistent basis, said Moore.
