Hasbrouck Heights' Rose Pagan and Area Veterans Ring the Nasdaq Opening Bell

NEW YORK, NY --  One day after Wall Street was closed for the Independence Day holiday, Hasbrouck Heights resident Rose Pagan and several area veterans rang the opening bell of the Nasdaq Stock Market on Thursday morning.

The Mission Continues Newark, a veterans group, was tapped to ring the opening bell. Pagan, the Director of A Hero's Welcome NJ, joined veterans AJ Luna, Director of Bergen County Veterans Services,  Aroch Bolanos, Mission Continues Newark Platoon Leader, and Frank Schupp, the Director of Veterans Outreach for the New Jersey Veterans Network, and others from the organization. Before the market opened, Bolanos gave a brief speech about the organization's ongoing mission.

"It was a wonderful experience," said Pagan. "Mission Continues does so much for the communities that they help serve."

Nutley Police Rescue Woman Locked in Burger King Restaurant
