HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ -- The Hasbrouck Heights Board of Health will be hosting a blood drive on Monday, August 13 at Borough Hall at 320 Boulevard. It is scheduled from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
According to Community Blood Services, every 2.5 second someone needs blood. Less than 5% of the population donates blood, yet 80% of the population needs blood. The need is more critical in the summer months.
Donor guidelines are:
- A person weight at least 110 pounds
- Eat before donating
- Bring identification
