HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - The Hasbrouck Heights Green Team is again collecting toys for the Second Chance Toy Drive.

It is the second year that the Hasbrouck Heights group will be collecting toys in conjunction with the non-profit Second Chance Toys. According to its website, the organization's mission is "to rescue and recycle plastic toys for children in need by donating them to community organization," thus keeping non-biodegradable plastic out of landfills.

The drive runs from Monday, November 30 through Monday, December 14. Donated items can include:

•Plastic toys ONLY.
•No missing parts. All parts must be attached to the toy.
•Batteries functioning.
•Absolutely NO plush toys.
•Please place toys in a tightly tied plastic bag.
