HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - The Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education passed two resolutions at a special meeting called on Thursday evening. The agenda was brief, as the BOE passed the following two resolutions.
Resolution awarding contract for clock, intercom, and security upgrades at the high school, middle school, Lincoln and Euclid Elecmentary schools to Coskey’s Electronic Systems, Inc. There were two bids received for the contract:
Coskey Electronic Systems Bid Amount $204,205
T&R Alarm System Inc. Bid Amount $408,813
As Coskey’s Electronic Systems was the low bidder, and determined to be in compliance with New Jersey Public Contract Laws, they were awarded the bid.
The second resolution was on a recommendation from the Superintendent of School, Dr. Matthew Helfant, on membership in the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) Cooperative purchasing contract.
The Board unanimously agreed to both resolutions.
