NEW MILFORD, NJ -  Hasbrouck Heights’ Julia Campen doubled in Olivia Marinelli in the fourth run with the game’s first run, and the Aviators made it stand up, for a 2-0 win over Bergen Tech at the New Milford Fifth Annual Softball Benefit Tournament for Pediatric Cancer.  

The Lady Aviators broke a 0-0 tie in the fourth inning as Olivia Marinelli reached first base to lead off the inning, and came around to score when Campen doubled. Hasbrouck Heights other run came in the top of the seventh, when Erin Owens tripled leading off, and was driven home by senior Autumn Thorpe.

Marinelli was dominant on the mound once again for Hasbrouck Heights, striking out 14 while walking one, while recording a complete game shutout of Bergen Tech.
