EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - Olivia Marinelli struck out 17 and knocked in the first run of the game as Hasbrouck Heights improved to 15-0 in the Meadowlands Division with a 2-0 win over Becton Regional in East Rutherford Friday afternoon.

Becton starter Carly Pohlmann limited the Lady Aviators to just one hit, but was victimized by three Wildcat errors. The Lady Aviators scored both their runs in the second inning, with Autumn Thorpe and Kimmy Halpin scored.

Thorpe reached leading off the inning, as the Becton third baseman could not handle her smash to the hot corner to start the inning.  Halpin bunted for a hit, with Thorpe going all the way to third.  Following a steal of second, Thorpe scored when Olivia Marinelli lofted a sacrifice fly, with Halpin moving to third.  Alexa Marinelli then grounded out, with Halpin scoring, for a 2-0 lead.
