HS Track: Results from Northern NJ Sophomore Invite

RAMSEY, NJ -   Wood-Ridge’s Christina Vasquez finished second in the Girls 3200 Meter Run and Hasbrouck Heights’ Joe Canavatchel took third the Boys 3200 Meter Run at the Northern New Jersey Sophomore Invite at Ramsey High School in the rain on Tuesday.

Hasbrouck Heights Kristen Auriemma finished fifth in the the girls triple jump with a jump of 31 feet, five and one-half inches.  Nick Bua finished sixth in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of five minutes, 2.9 seconds.

Vazsquez turned in a time of 14 minutes 48.7 seconds in the 3200, while Canavatchel ran a time of 11 minutes, 21.7 seconds.
