PARAMUS, NJ - The Hasbrouck Heights wrestling team dropped a 48 -18 decision to Paramus Friday evening in Paramus.
The featured match of the evening was a rematch of the Bergen County Championships semi-finals, as Hasbrouck Heights Matt Dallara and Paramus Kyle Jacobs squared off. Dallara, en route to his Bergen County Championship, defeated Jacobs 3-2.
Friday, Dallara was credited with an escape in the third period, giving him another 3-2 victory. Dallara was credited with a second period takedown, while Jacobs was credits with two escapes in the second, setting up the pivotal third period.
Drew Scuila (106, decision), Mickey O’Malley (171, pin) and Abdul Aksu (pin) were the other Aviators to record victories.
