NEW RINGGOLD, PA -- "One day closer!"

That was the message from Jamie Woyce after day two of her seven day journey in the MS Run the US. She is running the final leg of the 3200+ ultra relay to raise awareness and funds for MS. Sunday's run ended in New Ringgold, PA, which is 30 miles northwest of Allentown, PA.

The Hasbrouck Heights resident completed another 29 miles on Sunday, with a half mile warm up and about two miles cool down.

"I felt and still feel pretty good," she said. "I actually felt better today than yesterday so that was good."

After Saturday's stomach upset, she said "eating and drinking on the run was better today." She took mint gum to settle her stomach at about 15 miles and "it felt great."

The Cliffside Park teacher and coach said "the weather is great...it was actually chilly at 5:30 when we started. It got a little warmer by the end at about noon but not terrible."

The terrain on her route on Sunday wasn't as hilly as day one.

"Today we ran by beautiful fields and farms," she said. "On a road parallel to a state park which was beautiful with so many trees, and  a bunch of hills but still beautiful. Then we ran on a bike/running path that ran along the highway to avoid some of the traffic. The towns we have run through have been very quiet."
