NEWARK, N.J. – Cinelli Iron & Metal Co. President and co-owner Joseph Cinelli, Sr. pleaded not guilty in Newark Federal Court Wednesday before  U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo. according to the Assistant United States Attorney’s office.  He was charged with five counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud on August 2. 

His brother Craig, a co-owner and Chief Executive Officer, pleaded not guilty on August 14 to the same charges.

On August 2, it was announced by the Assistant US Attorney’s office that Cinelli Iron & Metal Co Chief Financial Officer David Barteck had pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.  On August 14, former Senior Vice President of Sales Michael A. Valenti pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
