LODI, NJ -- Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Brian E. Delgado Lodi on a charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, specifically cocaine.
According to the release, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force received information in January that Delgado was distributing cocaine from his residence. On February 6, approximately 80 grams of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia associated with packaging narcotics for distribution were seized at his residence. The approximate street value of the seized cocaine is $4,000.00.
Delgado was arrested without incident and charged with one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, within one-thousand feet of Hilltop Elementary School.
The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, and assisted by Lyndhurst Police Department, Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, Lodi Police Department, Bergen County Regional SWAT Team, and the New Jersey Drug Enforcement Administration.
Delgado is scheduled for a first appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court on February 21, 2018 at 8:30 AM.
